"Nestor Precedent"

Argentine president Nestor renegotiated the national debt in a very aggressive and unfair manner, prompting international lenders to shut out Argentina. The current president of Ecuador, Correa plans to follow in a similar precedent, which (potentially) could essentially tank the South American market.
